Gambling can affect mental health. Let's talk about it.
One of the Foundation's central areas of focus is increasing awareness of the psychological and behavioural effects associated with problematic gambling.

Open conversations can change this.
Mental health challenges connected to gambling can be difficult to recognize and even harder to discuss. Fear, shame, stigma, and misunderstanding can prevent individuals from seeking help.
We believe open conversations can help change this. Our work promotes greater understanding of gambling-related mental health challenges and encourages individuals and families to seek appropriate support.
Five pillars of response.
Prevention
Helping people understand potential risks before gambling-related problems develop or become more severe.
Awareness
Providing information about the psychological and behavioural effects associated with problematic gambling.
Early Intervention
Encouraging individuals and communities to recognize challenges and seek support early.
Support
Facilitating access to counselling, support groups, referrals, and appropriate services.
Rehabilitation
Supporting structured therapeutic and psychological processes aimed at helping affected individuals recover and reintegrate.
Family Support
Families may also experience emotional, social, and financial difficulties. We recognize the importance of supporting families and communities alongside individuals.
Every interaction is conducted with respect for dignity and confidentiality.
We are committed to treating people with compassion and respect throughout their engagement with support services.
